Across the Trunk. 1 Pip

10 Aug 2023 56 98 364
A mid May view across the A82 trunk road on Rannoch Moor, with snow still on the Northern faces of the 1098 metres (3602 feet) high Clach Leathad, The Pip is the view immediately behind me, which consists of Loch Ba and Rannoch Moor. A warm and sunny day with no breeze which is unusual in this area, I find a large view quite rewarding, Wish you a nice Friday and a great weekend. Glencoe!

12 Jul 2023 45 84 259
The watercourse tumbling down into the valley is a bit of a tongue twister, "Allt Coire nam Beitheach" and it flows into the River Coe just out of shot on the right, this is captured at Achnambeithach Glencoe, Although it was mid-May and the sun was shining, snow still lingered at the top A large view is in my opinion necessary for details. Depending on how large you are able to view but sure-footed sheep are dotted all over the landscape even close to the top! Wish you all a great Friday and a nice weekend. Robins and Chaffinches at a feeding post on the Quantock Hills back in 2009. I figured the birds have left many footprints in the snow so my first link is a beautiful track by Chris Rea from the Winter song EP of 1991, Footsteps in the snow www.youtube.com/watch?v=4nd62exrf3A And a track by Roger Miller www.youtube.com/watch?v=xHyRtEkpoWM
