A small but important fence on the River Brue at Burnham-on Sea, The image also shows clear evidence of the huge tidal range in Bridgwater Bay. For an idea of the tides on the 6th April, Low water at 12.42pm was 0.6m and High tide at 06.42am was 11.6m a mean différance of 11m (36.08924 ft) Ref www.tideschart.com › United-Kingdom › England › Somerset › Bridgwater-Bay The Brue flows into the River Parrett just before it flows into the bay and out into the Bristol Channel HFF and a good weekend, ---------------- Large view recommended!

Leverburgh,

The Shannon class lifeboat "RNLB Stella and Humfrey Berkeley " which arrived on station at Leverburgh, Isle of Harris in 2018 however operations were suspended in November 2019 due to lack of crew members, this boat has now been replaced with an Atlantic 85 inshore boat, "John and Louisa Fisher" (BBC and RNLI web pages) I assume13-25 is now in the reserve fleet,

Dandelion Waits

20 Apr 2021 54 56 420
Footprints in the soft mud indicate a recent visitor to Dandelions mooring as she waits for the evening tide to arrive in Watchet Harbour. the floating pontoons will then raise to accommodate the rapid infow of water which can be as much as 6m (20ft) during spring tides, Large would be appreciated

Incoming Squall

24 Apr 2020 49 40 344
The calm waters of Ardmucknish Bay are about to be disturbed by a brief spell of unsettled weather. When the tides here meet the vast amounts of fresh water being discharged from Loch Etive (just out of shot on the right), the waters become rough and difficult to sail. Much better large I think.
