Foreshore at Boreen Point, Queensland. Located on a rocky outcrop on the western side of Lake Cootharaba, Boreen Point is a small village that is bounded by water on three sides. Boreen Point has a distinctive character derived from its lakeside setting, foreshore open space and shading vegetation, mix of traditional and contemporary building styles, low level of infrastructure and a general absence of commercialism. There is a walk of 10,000 steps around the town so this photo and some of the marina were taken in the early morning on part of this walk. The light was really beautiful. Tin Can Bay, the town, is on a peninsula with a park lined foreshore on one side and the Marina on the other. These shaded picnic benches are dotted along the foreshore. We were staying for a few days at Sanctuary Cove Resort and Marine Village in Queensland. Goniochromism is the property of certain surfaces to change their colour depending on the angle under which they are viewed. From a physics standpoint this is rather uncommon behaviour, and in man-made objects this is usually only found in paints that are specifically designed for the effect. Examples are pearlescent paints or interference pigments, which are sometimes used for custom paint jobs on cars. answers.yahoo Archive Airings AA46
