Saturday challenge - 323 - 09/16/2023 - Sustainability - Although this book was written in 1979, and set in 1985, it deals with current issues, i.e. the constant focus on oil resources, and the threat of nuclear warfare, which would make life on earth unsustainable. I have just read this 1979 book again, and it is literally falling apart ... as is the world, in this story of dwindling resources on the planet, and ensuing chaos from the ultimate nuclear war. David Graham's Down to a Sunless Sea (1979) is a post-apocalyptic novel about a planeload of people during and after a short nuclear war, set in a near-future world where the USA is critically short of oil.
