Screapadal is another settlement abandoned and in ruins as a result of the Clearances.
The twin settlements of North and South Screapadal are separated by the Screapadal Burn in the ravine at the foot of the slope. Houses and field systems of North Screapadal are situated on the grassy slope; ruins of South Screapadal houses are in the foreground.

The grassy sward of Screapadal is formed by a tongue of glacial till ('boulder clay') infilling the valley. It was the site of the settlement of Screapadal, now deserted and abandoned as a result of the Clearances.
