The Church of Maria Magdalena in Pueblo Libre

We were lucky, as there was a wedding going on in this very special church. Built in 1557, The Parroquia Santa María Magdalena is one of the oldest churches in Lima. In the 20th century it's façade has been renovated, but the neo-classical style has been preserved Despite the numerous earthquakes the church has maintained the splendor of its altars and ornaments.
