Sunday 25 September 2016 (0856) – Nottingham Express Transit (NET) tram 227 leaving the stop at Beeston Interchange bound for the city centre and Hucknall. It is a Spanish built Alstom Citadis model new in 2013-2014 as part of the second batch of 22 trams numbered 216-237. The track on the right appeared to be a spur allowing trams from the city direction to diverge from the main westbound track and travel towards the platform for city bound (eastbound) services. The platform for westbound trams running through towards Chilwell and Toton Lane is out of shot on the right across the roadway. The overhead power lines for that line are just visible centre right.

Sunday 25 September 2016 (0912) – Nottingham Express Transit (NET) tram 202 is one of the initial batch of 15 Bombardier Incentro AT6/5 trams built in Derby in 2002-2003 for the launch of the NET system. During 2013-2014 they were all refurbished, given new interiors and a new livery - although not much of that is visible around the colourful array of advertisements carried. The body style on the later Spanish built Alstom trams is more curved above the windows which didn’t seem to lend itself to advert application. It was seen at the ‘High Road Central College’ stop when heading towards the city centre and Hucknall. The tram is named after the author D H Lawrence who was born at Eastwood about 10 miles north west of Nottingham.

This tram is one of the initial batch of 15 Bombardier Incentro AT6/5 models built in Derby in 2002-2003 for the launch of the NET system. During 2013-2014 they were all refurbished, given new interiors and a new livery. The tram is named after the author D H Lawrence who was born at Eastwood about 10 miles north west of Nottingham.
