The sugar mill "Argelia Libre" (former "Manati" until 1959) is no. 622 of Cuba. It has been founded in 1912. The factory closed in 2002 as many others and today only some ruins remain, as you will see in the next images.

The first Cine-Teatro Manatí was a wooden structure, which opened in 1914 and was destroyed by a fire in 1928. This Art Decó theater with 700 seats, located at the José Martí Pérez Park, opened in November 1944 and initially showed Argentinean and Mexican films, and Westerns. It's currently under renovation.
