am Rande der Eilenriede dem 650 ha großen Stadtwald in Hannover. Sie wird auch als ihre "Grüne Lunge" bezeichnet. Das Waldgebiet gehört zu den größten zusammenhängenden Stadtwäldern Europas. Vom Lister Turm- am Rande der Eilenriede an der Walderseestraße gelegen, hier auf dem Bild - zu sehen, kommt man schnell zu Hannovers Zoo oder in die Fußgängerzone der Lister Meile (mit U-Bahnuntertunnelung): Über das gut ausgebaute Radnetz kann man mit sehr wenigen Straßenquerungen immer durch Wald bis zum Maschsee oder zu einem ganz im Osten gelegenen Stadtteil wie Kirchrode oder Anderten fahren. ----------------- on the edge of the the 650 ha city forest in Hannover.
