This is a hydro-electric dam, near the top of Estrela Sierra. The natural lagoon that regularly overflew downhill was turned into a dam in 1945. HFW!

Proceeding from a seed of similar tree that survived the nuclear bomb in Nagasaki, 1945. As elsewhere in the world, a tree with such background was planted at Bacalhôa Estate, Vila Nogueira de Azeitão, with the presence of the ambassador of Japan.
