Drew and I looped back to Walker Pass for a 23 mile day, a record for both of us, putting the trip at 35 miles in about 27 hours. We were shot but I learned I can do this backpacking thing so that was the weekend I got the bug!

Starting mid day we got just 12 miles in. My pack was only 27 pounds... lots of water and no bear can needed out here. I was thankful for the water, as we happened to walk right past McIvers Spring and didn't pick it up until the way back.
