The area at the bottom was once a string of pearls in an old photo of a Hollywood starlet. Then I saw the mushrooms "grow" from the many filters I layered on (along with the bouquet) and used a dry brush and pencil to "carve them out." :D Shown smaller than the original completed size of 3540 X 2625 pixels. This is the first collage I've made which has a scanned scrap of actual wood veneer in it. Shown smaller than the original completed size of 2835 X 3750. The bust of Saint Juliana is from Italy, c1476, clipped from a Metropolitan Museum of Art catalog.

Also, I really wasn't sure about this layout, but I do really love those peaceful blue brushstrokes.
