Closer look at the lower section of the end, adjacent to the missing side section. The large piece a few inches up from the floor was probably to prevent the forklifts / pallet trucks used to load the PalVan from penetrating the panelling. Additionally, in this corner, some the timber middle of the composite floor was burnt away.

The most severely damaged section (apart from the roof) the exterior plywood, the structural framework and the inner plywood skin have all been burnt. This area of the PalVan was the nearest point to the builder's merchant which was the victim of an arson attack.

The pair of doors with slightly more damage. The metal channel at the extreme left appears to have been for a partition to divide the PalVan's internal volume into two sections.

The paint has been burnt off the ventilation hood and the fire was starting to burn away the end panelling just under the vent. see note - distorted fence !
