The seaward frontage of the Rendezvous Cafe, with the good weather external tables & chairs. Dog-friendly but with a limited menu of snacks and hot/cold drinks. The windblown sand underfoot had me thinking of Wilson, Keppell & Betty.

While eating our snack and looking out of the cafe, we saw this bulk carrier heading northwards.

The caption next to the original cafe sign ... The old sign [previous image] does get attention from visitors, as does the slightly "period feel", so I am pleased that the sign has survived.
