Our 2022 hedgepig unrolling and heading towards another meal [meat pet food, dried mealworms and hedgepig pellets plus clean water] or a late night - for him - snack.

Found in the wild part of the garden and promptly curled up into the standard protective ball, so we could pick him up for a quick check-over. He seemed to be in fine fettle. You definitely need leather gloves, those spines are quite pointy ... For some months we've been finding hedgehog scat and the food dishes have been well cleaned out.
