The remaining evidence of the original, highly decorative, livery on this door of the Pullman car "Balmoral" ... a considerable amount of the original interior is within the carriage, I was pleased to note.
Restoration paused at present, note that "Balmoral" was one of four exported as kits from Detroit, and currently contains parts from "Dunrobin" which fitted perfectly when installed.

Northern Belle, this set of coaching stock carries names of castles - and this is Balmoral.
Mark 3a staff sleeper, originally in the Royal Train.
OK, that's in the North [Scotland in fact] and given it's history - a most appropriate name.

Saw a small dot on the Irish Sea. After a while, at full zoom (hence the graininess, so my apologies), it was possible to make out Balmoral on her way back to Whitehaven.

That little dot on the horizon is Balmoral, she has just come into view on her return voyage from the Isle of Man.
