Cleaned up & repainted for the summer - one of tram 7's bogies. I would class this as a plate frame trailer [unpowered] bogie. Need to crop out the makers plates / axle box covers ...

Mishap after not strapping the trailer load down ... Happens every now and again, even to experienced drivers. At several of the rallies and shows I've been to over the past few decades, as people load up their trailers, it's not uncommon to hear them remind each other to tie down the loads. MER trailer No.56 has been adapted to allow greater accessibility, in particularly for wheelchair users. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manx_Electric_Trailers_55-56 Built in 1904 by ERTL running in Red, White & Teak livery. It was converted in 1999 to a disabled saloon, as such the number of passenger seats varies, depending on the configuration adopted.

MER No.7 [Blue, Ivory & Teak livery] with trailer in tow arriving at the Derby Castle terminus. For this journey No.7 has been paired with Trailer 56, the disabled saloon. The horse tram [bulkhead car] in the background is the 1907 built No.44, in the Red White and Blue "Royal Tram" livery.

MER Car 41 - a toastrack trailer. The shutters are down because the weather was wet and windy. Note: Trailer 41 was built in 1930 by English Electric as a replacement for a vehicle lost in the shed fire. It has 44 seats, shutters and carries the red, white & teak livery.

Mobile boat lift at Seahouses, plus a newish dinghy trailer.

It would appear that Wenda was previously Spray. We will have to make sure that there is a record of that under the new finish.

Looking at the other side of the bows. The varnish has already started to flake off, with very little help.

Beginning to remove the very tired varnish, to allow the surface to be sanded, before refinishing.
