I really hate "composite" head gaskets - this is what happens when one blows.
The bike was "running in" and the cylinder head should have been fully tightened down.
This event caused a delay in finishing the rebuild, as getting a replacement gasket was a little more difficult than it should have been.

The contol panel will be getting some attention shortly. The central clock mounting has been modified. and may not be original.
