Contre-jour! Stanier Black 5 4-6-0 45305 and British Railways Standard 5 4-6-0 73156 are seen after arrival at Rothley with the 09.10 train to Leicester. 45305 came off here leaving 73156 to continue alone to Leicester. HFF and have a great weekend!

I was rostered fireman on British Railways Standard 5 4-6-0 73156 and here we are at 08.16 on shed alongside Stanier 8F 2-8-0 48624 & the boiler off 48305. Both engines will be out at the weekend for the 50th anniversary of the last BR steam train on 11th August 2018. 73156 is in the guise of 1968 survivor 73069 and 48624 will be renumbered as 48476 another 1968 survivor.
