I enjoy spotting architectural details such as heads on keystones. This one was keeping watch on the shoppers in Marygate, Berwick-upon-Tweed.

Whilst enjoying a fine pint at the Square and Compass in Worth Matravers my drinking was accompanied by these two characters set upon the stone table top. The whole of the garden furniture at the pub was of the 'guaranteed to outlast your civilisation' style, being made of Purbeck stone.

A favourite sculpture is this wonderful piece over the door of the Nag's Head in Waters Green, Macclesfield. The head and centre stonework are all one piece and must have required great skill to create the head and then put it in place without damage.
