The houses on Rossett Road in Crosby nearly all had carved heads over the doorways when first built. Whilst some have been obliterated over the years, there are still eighteen survivors. These smiling ladies were working in a brickworks at Qiaotou north of Nanpiao in Liaoning Province. They were delighted to have visitors to provide a brief distraction from their daily toil.
