Several flights of stairs wind up to a patio and the entrance to Domaine Carneros, a Napa sparkling wine producer in partnership with Tattinger. This high-end winery would like to fence in it’s visitors (with their wallets) behind a fancy banister for their safety.

From The Paul Masson Mountain Winery is an overlook of Silicon Valley. Everyone has heard of this place, headquarters of many of the world's most important Computer and Internet Technology companies. In showing you this overlook view I can probably be chastised for not taking the photo with an iPhone! By the way, silicon is not only useful in creating computer chips - it is essential in creating glass bottles to store wine. With that, I raise my glass to Silicon!!
