This was such a perfect mushroom, growing not far from the edge of the trail, and the light was shining on it so beautifully : ) When four of us spent the day botanizing at the Medicine River Wildlife Centre on 27 July 2012, we came across this mushroom and several other species. Such a treat, even more so as I was beginning to think that this year was going to be another very poor year for fungi, like last year.
