Taken in Ulverston.On the back it says Jones Bros. Dragley Beck Lane (great street name!) Ulverston I'm guessing he's 5 in this picture making it 1900.

My husband's grandfather. Probably taken in Ulverston. This is a large portrait, about 61/4 by 81/2.

Written on the back: Kathleen Pearson King Christmas, 1909 An unknown King relative. Probably England or Scotland. She was born in Barrow, Lancs. England OCt/Nov/Dec/ 1906. Ref. 8e 764 (BMD) Pearson was Mary Ann King's maiden name.

He looks a little terrified. The print on the back says: W.H. Bigelow Photo Studio Port Henry, N.Y.

Arthur about 1924. Taken on Seymour Road in Leyton, London. My mother's brother born in 1920. The railings on top of the walls were taken down and the iron used in WW2.

Brought forward for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of "Hands/Feet". A little less formal than the other photo of this little girl! (in the North Dakota album.) I love the bare feet , with her dress off and in her petticoat - maybe the session went too long.

Purchased somewhere in New England. Probably from the 1860's.

Studio portrait from North Dakota - given to me in Connecticut. Whoever cut her hair did a miserable job! This is the first of two photographs.
