We're growing tomatoes in the tiny patch of dirt next to our driveway--it's amazing how many tomatoes even a little city garden can produce. These are the ripe ones on our kitchen windowsill yesterday.

For Lisa C.'s "A Month of Hands" project. Another tomato tart in progress. Tomatoes and oregano are both from our garden. You can also see garlic, grated parmesan, and the crust (mmmm, whole wheat with lemon zest and more parmesan, and loads of butter).

Daughter planted these seeds in a cup at Brownies in the spring. Tomorrow we'll be picking three or four cherry tomatoes for dinner--fun! They smell amazing, just touching the leaves conjures a fresh, delicious scent.

Visible here: squash, carrots, onion, tomatoes, oranges, grapefruit, kale, corn, watermelon. There were some other things too. Excellent colorful week!
