Cleveland, Ohio (left photos taken 23 March 2023; right photo taken 24 March 2023) Note: The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland's building was completed in 1923. It was designed by that city's architecture firm – Walker and Weeks . The allegorical statues in front of the main entrance representing security and integrity were created by Henry Hering. The building imitates Italian Renaissance Palazzo style.

New Rochelle, NY This mural was painted by Spanish Urban Artist Lula Goce (b. 1976 in Galicia, Spain) to celebrate the "special connection that exists between New Rochelle, NY and the Long Island Sound." It was inaugurated on 2 November 2019 as part of #NRNYMURALS. It was curated and produced by Street Art for Mankind. streetartmankind.org/artists/lula-goce

New York, NY Freedom Tower: Completed 2013. Height with Spire: 1776 feet. Architect: David Childs. Oculus: Completed 2016. Architect: Santiago Calatrava. Note: Due to a member question about the bottom right portion of Freedom Tower, the differences between the rest of the building as well as the appearance of smudging in the sky are optical illusions caused by the thin clouds in the sky that were faintly reflected in the sun-exposed section of Freedom Tower. The second optical illusion is caused by the dark shadow of the adjacent building that obscures the visible interior beams in the sun-illuminated section and interior office views. As this is a negative image, the shadow-impacted section is the opposite color (white vs. black) and the white wispy clouds appear as black smudges. In reality every section of Freedom Tower is alike.

Note 1: With One World Observatory opening on May 29, 2015, the Freedom Tower at 1776 feet tall with 104 floors is the tallest building in the western hemisphere. It replaced the Twin Towers that were destroyed in a terrorist attack on September 11, 2001. Construction began April 27, 2006. Under Construction, September 18, 2010 Under Construction Under Construction, October 6, 2012 Under Construction, December 20, 2013 Views from One World Observatory Autumn Colors Note 2: For those who know about the New York Yankees-Boston Red Sox rivalry in baseball, the Freedom Tower was not exempt. Unlike 2008 when a rogue construction worker buried a Boston Red Sox (David Ortiz) jersey under concrete in the new Yankee Stadium when it was being built that required 2 1/2 feet of concrete to be broken so the jersey could be removed, someone scrawled on one of Freedom Tower's beams "Yankees 1." Even thought the Mets also play here in NY, the Yankees will always be New York's team and apparently enshrined in Freedom Tower. I did not notice this until today when I was going through my photos, otherwise I would have taken a separate shot of this beam. Still for trivia and folklore, I've included the photo I did take on September 18, 2010 of the east side of Freedom Tower in its early construction phase:
