Taken during our balloon ops training. The balloon owner was very helpful. He later flew this balloon at the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. This activity took place at an elementary school, and the children were quite fascinated. We only helped to inflate the balloon, and then immediately packed it back up. We parked our RV near the Balloon Fiesta grounds, in the area of the "landing field". When the wind was right, we had many balloons drift over us. It was easy to sit in our comfortable chairs and point the cameras up into the sky. See: swansonphotos.com/balloon_fiesta

We attended the 2015 Balloon Fiesta, boondocking in our motorhome. We saw the balloons taking off every good morning, and many landed near us. See: swansonphotos.com/balloon_fiesta
