The European robin, known simply as the robin or robin redbreast in Great Britain and Ireland, is a small insectivorous passerine bird that belongs to the chat subfamily of the Old World flycatcher family.

This is Percy the peacock that in the past sometime came to visit us in our garden unfortunately the fox got him.

White Egret taken nr Gunnerside in the Yorkshire Dales. The little egret is a species of small heron in the family Ardeidae. It is a white bird with a slender black beak, long black legs and, in the western race, yellow feet. As an aquatic bird, it feeds in shallow water and on land, consuming a variety of small creatures.
