And this shot shows how the leaves were already changing even though it was still August.

One of the weirdest things about this photo shoot that I didn't discover until I got the film developed and the scans into Gimp was that the shots towards the mill had such different lighting that they now look like they were taken on a different day, possibly in the rain.

This walkway parallels what looks like the flume, which was dry on the day that I was there.

While post-processing the first shot of the pond, I accidentally discovered this artistic treatment in Gimp. I hope that you like it.

The rybnik, or pond feeding the mill is nowadays heavily stocked with fish, so much so that you can hear them breaking the surface. Fishing was forbidden on the day that we were there, however, because (from what I understand), some maintenance work was being done somewhere.

Here's a better look at what looks to me like the flume. If somebody has a better idea what this is then tell me so that I can correct it.

This is the Vodni Hamr Dobriv, or the water powered iron mill of Dobriv, according to what I can find, was opened in the 16th Century, but didn't acquire a proper blast furnace until 1614. This initial furnace operated until 1817, and with modernisation this iron mill operated into the 20th Century. It's not a museum, although it didn't appear to be open on the day that we were there.

When our train arrived in Nadrazi Cimelice, I was shooting video (maybe you'll get to see some of it later), so I forgot to photograph the station. Neverless, before we got on the bus for Dobriv, I noticed this hand pump and had to take a photo.
