Constructed in the Baroque style in 1641-1649, this cathedral is connected to the Black Tower. It replaced an earlier cathedral (destroyed by fire) that dated back to the 14th Century.

Also known as Premsyl Otakar II Square, or simply the Old Town Square in English, this is the old town square of Ceske Budejovice. The tower in the background is the so called "black tower," or "Cerna Vez," I think it translates into Czech, built in the 16th Century. The fountain, Samson's Fountain, is of similar vintage to the old town hall being built in 1721-1726.

The Black Tower, or Cerna Vez (I think) in Czech, connected to St. Nicholas Cathedral, was constructed in 1550-1577, and is about 72 meters high. It is possible, for a fee, to go up to the top.

This was just a random restaurant I found in Ceske Budejovice while walking from the station, Hlavni Nadrazi, to the Old Town Square.
