We spent New Year's Eve at my girlfriend's sister's in Valdemorillo and stayed overnight at her other sister's nearby. This morning's walk was necessary! After that we played basketball with my girlfriend's brother-in-law, Rafael Rullán. In Spain this would be serious name-dropping! You can check out his illustrious Real Madrid and Spain career on Wikipedia or Google. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rafael_Rull%C3%A1n www.google.es/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=5&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwit47Xj9ermAhV5BWMBHbXcCcIQwqsBMAR6BAgKEAQ&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DLYyN4oICzVs&usg=AOvVaw0oplcrEl3Vf2Ig_VxUmmn2

My girlfriend would love to sell this piece of land with its lovely views. I remember posting this on Pano and had a few (none too serious) enquiries!

The Four towers, plus some other tall buildings (in many of which I give, or have given, Business English classes to senior executives), can clearly be seen. Taken from close to my girlfriend's sister's house. Best on black and enlarged.

A walk with my girlfriend's sister's family produced scenes of greenery in shaded valley bottoms long after the rest of Central Spain was yellow and brown. No reason but that I like it. Sight and sound:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sGWUFm5YmTA

HFF! (yes it's there on the left).

Some of you may remember, from Panoramio, this piece of land belonging to my girlfriend. She is still trying to sell it, if anyone is interested! In the foreground; Spanish lavender.

aNNa Schramm solved the puzzle as to what tree these catkins come from. They are the male catkins of the Populus Tremula (Lt), European Aspen (Eng), Zitterpappel (Gm), Peuplier tremble (Fr) or Alamo (Sp). Thank you aNNa! Taken March 2013, first posted on ipernity 2016. Valdemorillo, Madrid Province.
