RHH's photos with the keyword: tsuga

Photographed along the Cutthroat Pass Trail in the North Cascades, I believe this is a Western Hemlock. The snow and ice were part of the day we hiked the trail (also part of the Pacific Crest Trail).

Taken while hiking with brother Tim near Austin Pass in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, these are the needles, I believe, of a Mountain Hemlock.
