They do things big in America! This seen in the Rose Fitzgerald Greenway of Boston Massachusetts. A new liner park which has within it, an Art-Walk. Here we see the giant Rob ‘ ProBlak’ Gibbs mural called ‘Breath Life Together’, painted in 2019? It is actually depicting his beautiful daughter here with her boom box on the gable end of this rather large building.
NB the truck (jeep) is real! –giving an idea of the size of this. For anybody doubting that see PiP over truck.
HWW, enjoy the day

A view of this rather large mural painted on the end of a building near the old fish harbour. This little harbour quay we explored but sorry to say I did not see any steam sailing ships here. Once again, I cannot find any details of the artist.
See PiP for another view of the buildings on the right.
HWW, have a great day.

This wonderfully coloured small town (Villajoyosa) in the province of Alicante, Spain is a joy to behold and wander through. We are here on the road from sea level on our way up to the centre of town which is depicted very nicely in this mural. As can be seen, a town of many fences of every description.
As usual, best viewed full screen on black.
I wish you all, a great weekend, Herb

Seen on the end of a big old warehouse in the seaport city of St John, New Brunswick, Canada. I think It is showing the re-building of the town after the Great Urban Fire’ of 1877 that destroyed two-fifths of the city. Most of the wooden city by the water was gutted leaving only the brick buildings and making 13,000 people homeless. It destroyed 200 acres and 1612 structures
HWW, have a great day.

Seen whilst walking through this wonderful city, from the Citadel along Sackville St. Sorry, as much as I have tried, I cannot find anything at all about this. There seems to be a lot of murals here in the city and so this might be considered of little importance?
HWW, have a great day.
You are being watched!

Mural of St Edwards Church, Lees, Oldham

A short time ago our local church had quite a make-over to celebrate the St Edwards Parish 150th Anniversary which is in just a few days’ time. The wall behind the alter had painted on it, an icon style mural depicting the Risen Christ with Mary Magdala and Mary , mother of James. On the sides stand the Archangel Gabriel and the Virgin Mary. This was all painted by the internationally renowned iconographer Aidan Hart.
I was asked to record this for the church. Something quite different from myself which I hope you will enjoy and respect.
Enjoy full screen.
Ps the ceiling tiles and carpet have since been renewed.

Super Sprinter

It’s not often that I show wall murals on here but I make an exception for this that depicts a subject close to my heart: railways. This is a Class 155 Super Sprinter belonging to the Northern, Trans Pennine Express company, almost in the Ukrainian flag colours. The building that it is painted on stands just in front of the main Rochdale to Manchester line in an area known as Castleton, Rochdale. These exact trains currently run up and down this line.
Enjoy full size and have a good week.
Our thoughts reach out to Ukraine.
