Lightening storm - No rain at all.

I was told to expect lightening so I took the lightening trigger. no way you could get this without a lightening trigger. By the time you see it its gone for the camera. The interesting part is I have a almost red version in sunset clouds as well but looks better in the night time.

On our trip out to Kalgoorlie We first had to leave the Perth rain storms behind. the contrast is the colour of the wheat fields still not yet harvested. Taken out the Bus window 103km/h

This storm we where told "may be bad" very few lightening strikes but plenty of hale and rain. Started 4:09pm finished 4:39and last cloud photo 5:20pm a total 40.4cm.

The Nun in a Storm

Piha NZ The rock at the very front is called the "Nun" an attempt to capture the colours of the storm not the colours on Nikon. the camera was in a plastic bag to shoot in the rain storm. an image i walked away very happy with.
