Reason for the 1350:580 picture size

The eye-catcher of a landing page must be displayed in full on all common user end devices without parts of the image being cut off.
In the desktop area, displays usually have the widescreen format 16:9 (HDTV). With smartphones, the situation is similar when they are held crosswise.
Because around 15 % of the vertical display is taken up by the browser and the ipernity main menu is also located above the eye-catcher, there is a much smaller height available for our eye-catching image.
The next common standard format is 21:9 Cinemascope. Since ipernity's content was programmed for a screen width of 1350 pixels, the calculated height is 578.57 pixels, rounded: 580.
The choice of the image format does not have any creative reasons, but only takes into account the best possible presentation on the user devices.
