I am desperately trying to understand what is going on here. So, my apologies if I have misunderstood something translated from German to English.

However, here are my wishes and thoughts...

Case Ruesterstaude

In my opinion we all are free to write whatever we want on the image title or caption. It is everyone's own space.Then it is up to each and everyone of us how we wish to react onto ideas shared on someone else's image title or caption.

So, if someone wishes to give an image title or a caption, to explain or give ideas on how the game either continues from the previous challenging image, or could continue by the next player, then it is open for interpretations. Other players can agree or disagree as they wish.

Case Gucki

If ever one of the administrators (and moderators) decide to remove some contribution, I wish it would be always explained via personal ipernity mail. I have tried to do so every time. For a very long time I have had no need to do much moderation myself.

So, now I feel puzzled... What was wrong with Easter related image, with Easter eggs on the shop window, when replying to an image of an egg standing on a colorful paper plate?

However, I do wish we just could put behind these cases, get over it, and try to learn from them. I keep on saying to people that the best way to learn is to make mistakes. Making mistakes should be allowed to all of us, at least when it does not cause physical harm or cause damage to anyone's health.

deine Ausführungen sind sehr moderat, besonders der letzte Absatz gefällt mir. Ich werde deshalb die Gruppe noch nicht verlassen, nur erst einmal nicht weitermachen und abwarten, ob die Person lernt, die es angeht. Wenn sie von "neuen Regeln" schreibt, reagiert sie allerdings eher, wie ein aufgeschrecktes Huhn. Nein, die Regeln sind gut, man (frau) muss sie nur richtig verstehen und anwenden. Vor allem dürfte eine Admin nicht ein regulär angelegtes Bild löschen, nur weil sie selbst ein besseres hat.

In der Auffassung, ob man die Regeln wörtlich nehmen oder den Anlegern Freiheit in der Themenwahl lassen sollte (was eigenlich den Regeln widerspricht), unterscheiden wir uns. Wenn der Anleger sich ein beliebiges Bildelement als Thema herausgreifen darf, wird das Spiel meines Erachtens anspruchslos - eben, weil beliebig. Beispiele gibt es in der Gruppe. Mir macht das dann keinen Spaß.

Pragmatisch wäre folgende Lösung: Der Anleger "soll" das vorgegebene Thema aufgreifen (wie es in den Regeln ja auch steht). Wenn er es nicht tut, sollte er vom Admin ermahnt werden, sobald der es bemerkt oder darauf aufmerksam gemacht wird. Das betreffende Bild wird jedoch nicht gelöscht. Die Admins können ja auch nicht so schnell reagieren, wie die Bilder wechseln.

Wäre das so machbar?

Volker, I disagree when it comes to any written claims saying what the next member should have in the picture. One can suggest something, but the next member does not have to follow it literary.

The rules say:

"The first corresponds to the previous topic. (For example architecture follows architecture)."

It is an example. BUT, if there on the image is a blue car in front of a yellow building, then the next member can choose to post an image of a real car alone, a toy car, or a building, or blue somewhat identical item in front of somewhat identical yellow block.

Or I would even accept if indeed the next member would indeed follow the some topic given on title or on caption.

So, another example. If there is a blue car in front of yellow car, and the title says: "New York", then I would accept an urban landscape street shot taken in New York.

So, I am pretty liberal on this, and I will not start splitting hairs on it. I hope that is okay for you. I hate to loose members on this group, but I also hate it if the so far casual and funny ambiance get spoiled because of all this disagreement.

When I said that members can post whatever they want on title and caption, is what I mean. But any of that does not need to be followed by other members on this group. Only things in the images matters. Other members can then interpret those visual elements as they like.
