Lat Krabang is an idyllic one of the eastern 50 districts of Bangkok. The Khlong Sam in this district is the closest to the Venice of the East you'll find in and around Bangkok.

At the background the underpass Motorway Bangkok - Chonburi. More Khlongs around the city Bangkok were closed for traffic due pollution of industrial wastewater. But the Khlong Prawet in Lat Krabang still has its idyllic atmosphere.

Got too much food from the restaurant guests and it looks exhausted from eating. Looks similar our house dog we had for 17 years but it has passed away already, perhaps its the incarnation?

Outside Bangkok the Klongs still are almost clean but covered with the plants of hyacinths. A tour through the Klongs is very problematic, very often has to clean the boat propeller.
