Buddha room inside a Thai house
Thais are a deeply religious people who considered all Buddhist images extremely sacred-no matter their age or condition. Every Thai house has its own place for an altar with the Buddha image, many house have own "Buddha rooms", which should be located on the highest place of the house. Here is a compartment of the house being used for the place of meditation in front of the Buddha image.
