Valentine & Sons card no. 102,177, posted July 7, 1910 to Miss Mossop, 8, Bank Terrace, Lindal in Furness, Lancashire, England: "Sorry I sent you two of the same kind. Have kept no record, and don't know what I have sent. Very good fo the junior F.C. Recognized them all. J.M."

Taken at Royal Studio with their stamp (299 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg). "Woodbine Hotel, Winnipeg. I am still enjoying life in Winnipeg. Billy and I are coming home next summer. Tell Mrs Adams and all the rest I was asking about them. Your old Friend, Alex." This was addressed to Miss Maggie Adams, Adams Temperance Hotel, Aberdeen, Scotland and postmarked December 6, 1910. No doubt the fur coat would have been regarded as something quite exotic by the recipient.

JBC (Julius Bien & Co.) card unused but with the date 14/12/10 on the back. Small inscription on front "Copyrighted 1908 by A. S. Meeker, N.Y." Series no. 899.

Postmarked Dickson, Alta., on June 24, 1910 and addressed to Mrs. H. R. Fabricus, 843 Jasper Av., Edmonton, Alta. Card published by the Nicklis Co., Niagara Falls, N.Y.

Very nice Homestead Life card, posted at Jordan Station, Ont. June 22, 1910 to Miss Bertha Hamdeman, 172 Riley Street, Buffalo, N. Y.: "Hello Bertha, I am at Jordon for two week wish you and the girls where here, and I am having a good time every body is well here. Ans. before the first of July (Howard)". The name "H. J. Overholt" is pencilled in beneath this.

Pugh Manufacturing Co. card no. 578-22, posted at Moose Jaw, May 16, 1910 to Mrs. Fred Masters, Niagara on [the] Lake, Ont.: "Dear friend, I have not forgotten you. I will write you next week, am busy just now we have started to keep house, remember me to each of sisters in A. Q. U. W. [?] Charlie joins with love to Fred + yourself and babe yours in C. H. P. Mr + Mrs. C. Todd ... Don't forget to write anyway."

Posted August 31, 1910 to Mr. George Charbonneau, Arnprior, Ont.: "416 Victor St. Hello George, We arrived safe and sound in the Peg and had a swell trip. How is Arnprior. Blanche." Valentine & Sons card no. 103,378.

Lewis Rice card. Addressed to N. M. Sanders Esq., Kemptville, Ont. and postmarked at Moose Jaw on October 12, 1910: "Dear Sandy, Just a line to let you know I am in the land of the living. I have not had a chance to do any writing since I came here. We have to work like the d--- all the time and when I get through I go right to the feathers. Ernie."

Postmarked London (England), June 2, 1910 to Miss G. Kettleton, Skelbrook Vicarage, Doncaster, from Kitty. Valentine & Sons, but no number visible.
