Addressed to N. M. Sanders Esq., Kemptville, Ont. and postmarked at Moose Jaw on October 12, 1910: "Dear Sandy, Just a line to let you know I am in the land of the living. I have not had a chance to do any writing since I came here. We have to work like the d--- all the time and when I get through I go right to the feathers. Ernie."
