Ice fishing decidedly is a male province, women would feel cold in no time;-)

I took some distant shots of some ice fishers a few weeks ago. The ice was strong enough to have trucks and ATVs on the lake. Many had their shelters up as well. That ice looks slushy. I would not venture out on it.

My fingers and toes would freeze. I wouldn't even fish on a lovely warm summer's day. Not a photo that I could achieve in the UK, Wierd. ;-)

Great shot. I have friends who do this kind of fishing and always get nervous about the ice. Seems very popular though and from what I understand, the fish are yummy as can be in the cold water.

Rather them than me, but it's a cool shot all the same - no pun intended! ;)

Well, I know that women do ice fish but it's not my cup of tea ... the thought of sitting on frozen ice waiting for a fish to come along would drive me to distraction. Guess some folks find it a great way to spend a cold winter day. :)
