I love this old scanned slide because of the VW Campervan in the middle.

Weather was grey on the day we visited this spectacular bridge in 1987

I remember being in Gairloch for a holiday as a child ( 1959 or 1960) but I don’t think we used the ferry. I sure our parents would have talked about it in later years as many other ferry stories were recounted
