I've done bits and bobs of the 'Pennine way'.. but nowhere near this region... it looks very well maintained and easy walking - at this point anyway.

This is an easy section from Snake Summit. car parked off the A57 at the side of the road (careful there is a big drop in places ) to Bleaklow Hill . but open moorland after that. South from start point to Kinder Scout always seems long and featureless but good when you get there ( there are better ways to get to Kinder Scout)
