I guess one day someone will dig down and find some parts that are not on show at all and the finds to indicate its true date may be found. Watching the programme last week on Ness of Brodgar (Orkney) shows that man has been quite capable of building and creating art long before most people were taught but in other areas the evidence is lost (or hidden)
