Venezianische Brücke (7 PiPs)
Die sogenannte Venezianische Brücke bei Kato Moni Preveli wurde - anders als ihr Name vermuten lässt - unter türkischer Besetzung 1862 gebaut. Sie überspannt den Fluß Megalopotamos, der das ganze Jahr über Wasser führt. Weiter südlich fließt er durch den Preveli Palmenwald (PiPs) und mündet dort ins Meer.

A splendid series Wilhelm..........each image is beautifully captured in lovely light and super detail. The palm forest is particularly impressive.

I like each and every image, but my favourites are the ones in the 3rd and 4th PiPs, which are outstanding!
