Schöner alter Briefkasten. Aber manche Sachen ändern sich eben im Lauf der Zeit. Ich denke da nur an die alten Telefonzellen - gibts nicht mehr.

Un curioso buzón de cartas. En España el primer buzón de correos se instaló en Mayorga, para uso de pastores trashumantes, dejaran las cartas para sus casas.

I love mailboxes. I'm always surprised when I put mail in a box in a random location and it arrives safely at its destination!

Our home mailboxes have changed a lot from big arched metal that ages in interesting ways, to locked black rectangles. Still waiting to see how they age - as now they are boring.
