Willie in the snow

Ummm!

Not at all sure that I'd have wanted to be on this "Dash 8" aircraft heading for a landing through clouds alongside those very close mountains! No, this is not done with selective colour. :-) A musical link seems appropriate. Explored.

Back to Bergen

Returning to the Hurtigruten terminal (at right) in Bergen, concluding our tour of the Norwegian coast. Best viewed large and second image in PiP. In recent months my lovely wife has been battling cancer. I won't be loading any photos here for a while, as the next stage of her treatment involves a major operation to be performed in Sydney and we're heading away this week. All being well I hope to be able to visit ipernity from time to time.

Down the fjord

Back to my Norway series and, after our return to Bergen, we took a one-day tour through some of the nearby mountain and fjord scenery. This is looking down the Naeroyfjord and is best viewed large. Explored.

Opera in Oslo

Oslo has a new and very modern Opera House. The fact that I've added four PiPs shows I was impressed! Best viewed large, maybe while listening to this.
