Bus on the beach

The tour bus took us for a drive on "90 Mile Beach", a long gently sloping beach of firm sand which opens as an official road (60km/hr limit) when the tide drops. The bus even takes a run in the shallow edge water and later other traffic passes - see PiPs.

This looks like nice firm sand where vehicles can drive safely! In the Hebrides (Barra) they even run an airport on the beach at low tide;-)
