Alesund harbour
Our ship stopped long enough in Alesund to allow a stroll around the town, admiring the interesting buildings and the harbour. HFF and best wishes for the weekend, everyone.

Oh my, you will have to tell me about your "flying helicoptor" mozzies story! As it is, the mosquitoes at Diamond Lake were twice the size of the smaller, faster ones we have at home. Also, though the Diamond Lake ones were much more blood-thirsty, their bites weren't nearly as toxic (to me, anyway). All in all, we did ok! :)
BTW, I considered MANY TIMES, the idea of a macro showing these nasty creatures at work. Couldn't do it! Besides, I'd be banned for life from ipernity for sharing such hideous photography! :D
Enjoy your weekend.
