No... people are weeds and pests... Nature is not. That is has spread where is shouldnt be is the human fault...

Given a choice I will take Nature and hold it close... people... thats a different matter for the majority of them

Many thanks, everyone, for all your kind comments and feedback on this. If we work on the broad definition that a "weed" is anything growing where it shouldn't be, then invasive exotic plants don't belong in nature reserves - despite how good they may look. I should add that I'm involved in a group trying to keep problem plants under control in our local nature reserves.
